    BSOD when running Malwarebytes scan - Kernal_data_in_page_error

    Hello,

    I'm currently having an issue with my Windows 7 laptop. It's using a stupid amount of RAM for no reason, so I'm pretty convinced I've got some Malware hiding somewhere. Done a full scan and also a full rootkit scan with AVG 2011 and it found nothing. However I've attempted to run a full Malwarebytes scan numerous times and every time at some point during I get the BSOD, with the reason being "Kernal_data_in_page_error".

    Can't find any help for this issue, as all solutions say to run Malwarebytes, but that's in fact the issue!

    Thanks in advance.

    To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

    The procedure:

    * Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
    * Zip up the copy.
    * Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.

    To ensure minidumps are enabled:

    Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
    Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
    Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
    Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
    Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
    OK your way out.
    Reboot if changes have been made.

    The sfc/scannow thing has caused my laptop to now refuse to start without BSOD, saying about a driver being verified. Startup recovery also doesn't work. Need help, if I can't access my stuff I'm well and truly screwed!

    EDIT: Freakout averted, managed to get it to boot up Windows by using the "last known configuration" setting. I've attached the latest minidump here.
