System Service Exception 0x3B c0000005
Hey everybody (and TorrentG, I saw a bunch of threads like this that you replied to...).
So, as you can tell, I'm getting a SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION 0x3B c0000005 BSOD.
I have a custom build, with Win7 x64 Enterprise (from technet). Install at this point is less than a year old. I installed SP1 when it was publicly available, but I had the same BSOD before and after SP1.
The BSOD blames atikmdag.sys. I've got two video cards... primary card is GTX 470, secondary is ATI 5450. The BSOD didn't start (IIRC) until I installed the secondary card in order to support a 3rd monitor at times. The HDMI port died on the card once so it's already been exchanged a couple months ago, by MSI. So I'm hesitant to blame the card *again*, but I suppose it's a possibility.
I have tried:
- uninstalling Catalyst (CCC), figuring it was the cause.
- uninstalled Avira AV using Revo Uninstaller
- installed MSE
- updating Realtek (LAN + Sound) drivers and any other drivers that I found to be the least bit out of date, although I'm sure I missed something
- updating BIOS to latest revision
I'm wondering if this is something to do with the motherboard... I believe I ran across a couple places online where people had this problem with the exact same motherboard. At least one case wasn't solved until swapping out with a different video card. But I like having support for potentially 4 monitors... I guess long term I should get something not quite as bottom of the line as a 5450.
OK, so what did I miss? I've attached my dumpfiles. Thanks!
