Yet another BSOD ... at startup.
Every time I startup Windows it crashes to BSOD "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" and some mention about ataport.SYS.
After I do a System Restore from Safe Mode I (mostly) can start up without BSOD ... until the next time I start the computer. Curses.
It all started a day ago and I have changed no HW. A possible suspect may be something to do with my new networked Synology DS211j NAS. When I installed some SW for it my Antivirus program (Kaspersky 2011) decided to quarantine the backup software (presumably a false alarm). I tried (unsuccesfully) to uninstall it and not long thereafter the BSODs started.
I'm running :
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Original on system
OEM
Hardware approximately 12 months old.
OS has been reinstalled about a month ago after a corruption of it.
Note :
OS running on separate SSD disc.
Water-cooling for the CPU (in case some log shows CPU fan problems)
Attached .zip-file according to instructions.
Any advice would be appreciated.
