I have it logging data now. So you want me to run a game and make it crash, right? Also I tried searching manually for what you just said about memory dump. Still didn't manage to find anything
I dont get an actual blue screen though. Just whatever was displayed on the monitor stays on there. System just locks up and I have to manually power off
If it is not a heat issue (as we'll soon determine, hopefully), these symptoms are usually due to programs/Windows having corrupted files/registry entries or missing registry entries. You may need to do a clean install of Windows to fix your issues as they appear to me as registry related. You could try a repair install, but given how unstable the system is, there is no guarantee it wouldn't freeze up during the repair installation.
Recommend backing up your user files/important files. Then you can try Repair Install. If that does not work, Clean Install Windows 7
My computer is doing that thing it does where its working lol. this is making things hard. I have it idleing on skyrim and its playing fine atm at least.
Hm. Still hasn't crashed. Debating on just trying a repair install since it seems that I have a disc that is able to do so.
Alright, Just hoping something not to extreme can fix it. I just find it odd that sometimes I dont have any problems at all.
Hmm. I have a question to see if this is possible. See I have an alienware, and it has an alienware program that starts at start up that includes a temp reading and manages my custom lights.
I just booted up my PC, was running fine in normal mode, tried to boot up that program you told me about so I can monitor temperatures. Then as soon as that alienware program kicked in my pc froze and locked up.
Just asking if its possible that the alienware programs drivers may be corrupt or something to cause crashing? I dont know. Just a guess.
Bah PC, doesn't seem to want to restart at all now.
Attached is all the info I could get temperature wise when it was booting up fine.
