Crashed Updating Nvidia GTX 260. Can't start Win7.StartupRepair Failed

Booting into normal mode now. Its working now.

MEMORY.DMP is actually in the systemroot folder: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP

I have it logging data now. So you want me to run a game and make it crash, right? Also I tried searching manually for what you just said about memory dump. Still didn't manage to find anything

What is the blue screen error you see? Could you take a picture of it (no flash) so we may view it. This isn't the ideal way to troubleshoot an issue, but it might give some hint to the cause.

And yes, run a game until it blue screens.

I dont get an actual blue screen though. Just whatever was displayed on the monitor stays on there. System just locks up and I have to manually power off

If it is not a heat issue (as we'll soon determine, hopefully), these symptoms are usually due to programs/Windows having corrupted files/registry entries or missing registry entries. You may need to do a clean install of Windows to fix your issues as they appear to me as registry related. You could try a repair install, but given how unstable the system is, there is no guarantee it wouldn't freeze up during the repair installation.

Recommend backing up your user files/important files. Then you can try Repair Install. If that does not work, Clean Install Windows 7

My computer is doing that thing it does where its working lol. this is making things hard. I have it idleing on skyrim and its playing fine atm at least.

Hm. Still hasn't crashed. Debating on just trying a repair install since it seems that I have a disc that is able to do so.

I would wait and see if it crashes. You may have to do logging again each time you start until you are able to get a crash. Don't jump the gun yet. :)

Alright, Just hoping something not to extreme can fix it. I just find it odd that sometimes I dont have any problems at all.
