alright i followed some of the steps and came up with this when i checked my drivers Attachment 233766
heres a drivers test results Attachment 233768
I tried the furmark test for a bout 30 minutes, besides it lagging some it all was fine. I'm trying the prime95 test now hope it helps and shows me whats wrong, I'll leave it going for 6 hours i suppose
how do i know if it detects a error on prime95?
here it is Attachment 233877
Passed.
Next step, as per STOP 0x101: CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT troubleshtg
Then try replacing parts.
Then look up the versions of your BIOS to see what changes were done.
Recently it was found (here: BSOD Stop 0x00000101 and Stop 0x0000009c ) that a wipe and reinstall of Windows fixed a STOP 0x101 problem. I'd have to recommend at least running SFC.EXE /SCANNOW on any PC that has this problem (simply because it's too easy easy to do and it may fix things). Thanks to writhziden for pointing this out!
well i tried updating my bios and now my computer wont even start so I'm gonna try to find my windows seven disk and reinstall it all
That reinstallation is also a part of it ... but it is bad that you are forced to do it
At a point, we must to think for it, at the last stage of troubleshooting.
