    BSOD Playing Games. IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

I was told to post this here.

Recently my computer has been BSOD while playing games, and when that doesn't happen my programs stop working. I'm constantly getting "This program has stopped working," and it's not necessarily just games that stop working either, however the BSOD is generally while gaming. My computer is fairly new (~6 months old) and was running perfectly until about a month ago when this started happening. At first it was less frequently, and only seemed to happen while playing Dota 2 but now my entire computer seems to be messing up.

It seem to me that you have a OEM SLP installed on a retail
Motherboard Gigabyte UD3. That would make your installation of Windows 7 a counterfeit.
I suggest buying a legal copy of Windows 7 and doing a clean install. This Tutorial from Brink should help.

A counterfeit? Like not the real thing, or like not genuine? I bought this computer pre-assembled from a friend when he went off to the military and couldn't take it with him. The Windows was already preinstalled.

I understand how someone can get caught up in such things. Maybe this will help. NOT genuine is what it means.

Please look all over your computer and see if you can find a Microsoft sticker that tells you the 25 diget/letter code and what Windows 7 should be installed. You may or may not have one.

    I don't see a sticker anywhere. I've checked everywhere.
