    bsod last few days.

Updated to 331.65 last night and was playing bf4 when the last two happened. Not sure what to chalk it up too. Maybe I can get an idea. Thanks

Lately we have experienced some issues with the latest driver. Install the 314.22 WHQL only.

    • Uninstall All nvidia items in Control Panel > Programs and features
      • 3D Vision Control Driver
      • 3D Vision Driver
      • Graphics Driver
      • HD Audio Driver
      • PhysX
      • nvidia Update

(Are you using nvidia chipset drivers? If so, dont uninstall anything other than those are listed).
    • Now follow Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling
    • Boot normally now. Go to Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers, Download 314.22 WHQL. While installing, Select Custom (Advanced) install. In the next page, follow this settings:

    Let us know the results.
    • System File Checker
      • The SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker scans the integrity of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible. If you have modified your system files as in theming explorer/system files, running sfc /scannow will revert the system files to it's default state.
    • Run Disk Check in Windows 7
      • Run this on your Hard Drive(s). This will show you how to run Check Disk or chkdsk in Windows 7 to check a selected hard disk for file system errors and bad sectors on it. With both boxes checked for all HDDs and with Automatically fix file system errors. Post back your logs for the checks after finding them using Check Disk (chkdsk) - Read Event Viewer Log

So i went about a week with zero problem using 331.65 so I just kept it for now. There have been 1 or 2 updates to bf4 since then. However today I did bsod again while playing bf4. Never seen this problem before. Is it pointing to usb drivers?

what USB devices are you using?

Upload the list of all the third party drivers Using NirSoft DriverView :

    • Download and execute Driverview
    • View > Hide Microsoft Drivers
    • Edit > Select all
    • File > Save Selected Items
    • In the Save dialog, Set the path to desktop, Put "Driverview" in the name field, and save.
    • Zip the .txt file and upload it.

koolkat77 told it rightly. The problem persists even after the update.

If you dont follow the suggestions and do otherwise, you will nover get the desired result. Those suggestions are not given abruptly. They know what to do and what not to. If there is a possibility of update, the suggestion would have been to update, not to remove.

It may be. But as the first chance, as there is a failing driver, your first choice would be to fix it.
