    Win 7 freezes, black screen hence power is on


    Dear friends,
    I am having problem with win7 Dual core processor it keep crashing, screen goes black , power stays on. If i boot the system next time on restart screen stays black, but if i press the power button once, i noticed that after a while computer shuts down and on restart it works fine for some times then repeat the above process.

    Crash report is included in jpeg file.
    Hop some one here could help.

    Click on the button below ....



    It will download the DM log collector. Right click on the application and run as administrator. It will generate a .zip file on your desktop. Upload the .zip.

    Hi shamskabra.

    Download and install Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver, Windows 7.
    Let us know the situation after installing it.

    Also, as your hardware seems to be of about five years old, is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy. Alternatively, you can publish a Speccy snapshot too: Speccy - Publish Snapshot of your System Specs .

    Thank you Arc, I assume what you meant by driver is the graphic driver, i will try to reinstall it. Thank you again :)
