Hello,
I'm getting BSOD when trying to watch videos on youtube, i tried watching the same videos on explorer and it worked just fine, it only happens on google chrome.
The first parameter indicates that a machine check exception occurred, this means the CPU found a fault with a hardware device so it bugchecked the system.Code:BugCheck 124, {0, fffffa80101ec028, ba000000, 52000402}
The second parameter contains the WHEA (Windows Hardware Error Architecture)error record which might give us a clue as to what went wrong.
This error is undocumented as far as I know so I suggest stress testing all components.Code:Error : Internal unclassified (Proc 0 Bank 4) Status : 0xba00000052000402
Stress test your CPU with Prime95
I recommend running Prime95 for around 2 hours
Warning
As with most stress tests your component's temperature will rapidly increase.
It is advised that you download a temperature monitoring program like HWmonitor
Keep an eye on your temperatures and stop the tests if it starts to overheat
Stress test your graphics card with Furmark
I recommend running it for around 30 minutes
Warning
Furmark will increase the temperature of your GPU rapidly so keep and eye on your temperatures
Memtest86 will test your RAM
Information
Run Memtest86 for at least 8 passes so we get enough information to confirm that your RAM isn't failing
Run a Disk Check to scan for errors
Note
Afterwards go into an Elevated Command Prompt (Run as administrator) and type in sfc /scannow
If it finds errors reboot and run the scan two more times
Run SeaTools to see if your HDD or SSD is failing
Try taking out the CMOS battery on the motherboard then placing it back in to ensure no improper settings have been made.
Post back the results.
i will try the tests but i dont see why it would happen on google chrome but not on internet explorer if this is an hardware problem
I tried to run the prime95 test and the moment i activated the run i got BSOD
i added a new file.
Try it a couple more times, that sounds like a faulty CPU.
Try reapplying thermal paste.
If that doesn't help then I suggest getting a replacement, especially if it is under warranty.
Have you tried running it a few more times?
Is there sufficient thermal paste?
i tried it the first time it run for around 20-30min then crashed, when i tried it a few more times it just crashed the moment i turned it on, about the thermal paste i dont really know im not the one who put it
Yes that doesn't sound good at all.
Bad CPU, try more thermal paste or get a replacement.
Actually, you mention it took around 20-30 minutes to crash the first time then it crashed instantly the 2 times after?
Could be overheating, what are your temperatures?
atm the temperatures are 30 - 35 C (89 - 95 F)
