Yes, try an older version of the driver. There is little way to test the PSU or motherboard. You can test the PSU somewhat this way PSU - Test DC Output Voltage but, it is difficult to test it under stress. A PSU can show good voltages at idle but can be quite different under stress. The way I suggest testing the motherboard, it trying a different, known good working card, in your motherboard. That way you know the card is not at fault if you get a driver crash. At the same time, test your card in another computer. See what the outcome is. It can tell you a lot. If you have a spare PSU of sufficient power to run your card and rig, use that on your rig. Many times you have friends who have spare components who are willing to help you by swapping parts to determine what your problem really is.
You can also swap your card to a different X16 slot on your board to test that slot too.
