Yes, try an older version of the driver. There is little way to test the PSU or motherboard. You can test the PSU somewhat this way PSU - Test DC Output Voltage but, it is difficult to test it under stress. A PSU can show good voltages at idle but can be quite different under stress. The way I suggest testing the motherboard, it trying a different, known good working card, in your motherboard. That way you know the card is not at fault if you get a driver crash. At the same time, test your card in another computer. See what the outcome is. It can tell you a lot. If you have a spare PSU of sufficient power to run your card and rig, use that on your rig. Many times you have friends who have spare components who are willing to help you by swapping parts to determine what your problem really is.

You can also swap your card to a different X16 slot on your board to test that slot too.

Are there any other tests I can run to test different pieces of hardware (cpu, gpu)? Also, if the hardware tests pass, does this generally guarantee that the piece of hardware is working fine? For example, if my RAM passed memtest 86+ does this mean that my RAM is working fine and is not causing the BSOD and errors? I just want to make sure before I go through the trouble of swapping out different pieces of hardware.

You need very good CPU and GPU temp monitoring programs. All of these stress tests cause the heat to increase very high and very quick. I only run them if I watch them closely. If temps get too high, stop the test.

Unfortunately, no test is 100% correct. We pick tests that have been found to be the most accurate, but no test will tell you with absolute certainty.

Graphics card with Furmark, I wouldn't use Speedfan though. If you need some suggestions, I can give you a few. Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

Prime95 is a CPU test Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95

Both tests are very stressful on your system, watch it closely and stop the test if it gets too much.

Seatools for DOS (Option 2) Tests you hard drive. Run the short and the long test. You don't have to watch that one so close.

BanjoDrummer, if you are still having BSODs please re run and upload the results of Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions again.

Also, did you swap the slot for the GPU?
