Now the parents are feeding;
Wolfgang, I realize I'd have to start a youtube account because I don't have one, but what are you using for capture is it Windows or third-party, and what about copyrights?

I looked over the youtube (YT) page while creating this post and saw that I already have an account or I believe YT calls it a "channel" because I use gmail. It's more complicated than I want to get into this morning but I'll get it setup.
It would be easier than posting all these pix's, I've been wondering how John (z3r) feels about me loading up this thread with 70 or so .png pix's that so far equal around 112 MB.
For recording I suggest you use the Microsoft Expression Recorder 4. This is an excellent recorder and now for free (used to cost $199). It used to be only free for 10 minute recordings but now you can record for as long as you want.
A long time ago I had made this tutorial that explains it. The encoding phase may be a bit long if you have a modest CPU. But on an i7, it is no problem.
I also use Camtasia (the first recording was made with it) but there is a problem with the black frames that I have to fix. Another excellent recording program I have is WMCapture. It is cheap, has a free trial and does better than the other two with modest CPUs.
I don't really know what the copyright implications are. But since this is a live display, we don't really copy from a file where the copyright could apply.
The YouTube thing is pretty straight forward. I also use Vimeo which is just as good. The publication of the videos is slower though - unless you have a Pro account.
Actually I heard it on the video on the site,
Screen Video Capture Software, Highest Quality: WM Capture
Towards the end.
Try it out on your lowest system spec's pc
I'd be interested in something like that laptop is the lowest spec's one I have
Gateway M-7350U home premium 32 bit
3 gb ram
I used WMCapture on a 2008 HP with an AMD 4800+ (a 2.4GHz duo core) and 3GB of RAM. It worked perfectly there.
Thanks that's pretty close I guess mine is 1.16 and .17 I believe ghz :/
Wonder if 64 bit to 32 bit would make a difference there
Either way that's pretty cool :)
40.us or 80.us :/
A lot of features in that there item
