    Stop Autosizing Windows?

    As the title...
..How do I stop my windows form automatically rezising to fit the desktop, sometimes I want a window to 'hang' off the side of the screen, to give me space for another so I can copy data across.
    I have no doubt it's something dead obvious that I'm missing...but I can't find the setting..and help (searching here + F1) isn't helping

    Thanks

Just go to control panel/ease of access/make keyboard easier to use and tick the box for prevent windows being automatically arranged when moved to edge of the screen.

    Wow that's buried... it's a mouse action, not a keyboard action O.o
(yes I realize it has keyboard keys attatched to it's use as well but users are much more likely to run into and dislike the mouse part)

Hm it's there too. not bad!

If your copying from two windows why not take advantage of the snap left / snap right feature that was created just for the purpose of working between two windows?

If your talking about Aero Snap you can just move the window of screen as normal. It's only when the cursor reaches the edge that the snap is activated.

Exactly. I move my mouse to the edge while dragging windows A LOT and I don't want the window itself to react to that except for moving where I put it.

Well either turn Aero Snap off or place your cursor on the inner edge of a window when dragging. I can't see an issue here.
