    HP dv6-3019ax

hi,first post on the windows seven forum.

I have just bought a new laptop, running windows 7, and im trying to dual boot with XP. So, what ive been trying to find, for about a week, is a compatible driver to slipstream with my XP setup disc. I keep getting the blue screen of death.

    I have a HP Pavilion DV6-3019ax

    AMD CHIPSET 785GX
    AMD SOUTHBRIDGE SB800
    BIOS VERSION: F.27
AMD M880G WITH ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 4250 (512mb)

please help me, im stuck and run out of drivers to try.

    Thanks

First check for all the Win XP drivers for your hardware.
You can check your HP/compaq PC here:

NOTE: Please read this thread fully.

If your Win XP CD, does not support your Sata Controller, you will need to load drivers to uses at F6.
Load Sata Controller drivers with a floppy disk is the best way.

Use EasyBCD 2.0 in Win 7.
