    After Reboot WiFi has to be re-installed.


    Hi Guys! This is my first ever post :P
    My Problem is: Every time I turn on my laptop I have to uninstall and then re-install my WiFi drivers to connect to any network. It works fine after I uninstall the driver through Device Manager and Re-install it. I can connect to most networks fine...

    Any Help will be greatly appreciated!

    My Specs:

    Asus X55Sv
    OS Windows 7 Ulitmate RC (7100)
    CPU Core 2 Duo T8300 2.40GHz
    Memory 3GB
    WiFi Card Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN
    LAN Marvell Yukon 88E8055 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller
    Graphics Card(s) nVidia GeForce 9500M GS 512MB
    Monitor(s) Displays 15.6"
    Screen Resolution 1440x990
    Hard Drives 250GB+500GB eSATA External
    Internet SpeedADSL2+

    Have you updated the drivers by downloading updated drivers from Intel website? I recommend updating the driver in Device Manager, and not running the EXE, so grab the ZIP file.

    It says its running the latest driver when I download them off the intel website (both exe and zip) and when i click update drivers through device manager....

    That's so strange, I'm sorry I don't have any other ideas. I notice, however, you are running release candidate version, then maybe the final RTM will work for you once you get your hands on that.

    I'm having this same problem, except my "temporary fix" is disabling then enabling it.

    Don't suppose there was any chance of the OP saying how he fixed it....

    Can't you get the driver from your manufacturer's site and install it?

    Yes I have. I tried that quite a few times now with no result. Each time I switch my PC on it still says I have the latest driver (which I downloaded and installed from the manufacturers website), but it is disabled and has that little yellow exclamation mark next to it.

    whoa this thread is old, i fixed it by going into the windows mobile panel thing, (win key+X) and then i saw wireless was off so i clicked turn on. no more probs here

    Wifi, WLAN and USB drivers disable after every reboot
