Hi charunanda, welcome to 7F!

No it is not compatible, but here is the page for the download: HP LaserJet 1010 Printer series*-* HP LaserJet 1010/1012/1015 Printing System - HP Business Support Center

Download it to your Desktop, then see this to install in: Compatibility Mode

If it is a 32bit program, take note of the blue note box at the top.

If that does not work see his thread: why i m not instal my hp laser printer laser jer 1010 in window 7 - Microsoft Answers

Especially the part about using the HP Laserjet 5200L driver.
HP LaserJet 5200 Printer series*-* Download drivers and software - HP Business Support Center

You will also notice a post to install Generic IEEE1284.4 Printing support in: why i m not instal my hp laser printer laser jer 1010 in window 7 - Microsoft Answers

nice coincidence, we have the same printer at work. lol . Following Anak's suggestions, if you get an error saying print spool is not working you have to restart etc, go to start button, in search. type services and open it, look for print spool. you will have to keep playing around with the start, stop, automatic, manual of the start up types until it adds the printer in devices and printers. this is how i fixed my problem in 3 computers at work .

hope this helps.
