Wiped hdd now computer will not recognize the drive

I used the White canyon wipe software to wipe a 2tb hard drive. It wiped everything including the drivers for the drive. Now my system will not recognize the drive at all. I tried to install windows 7 and was told that it could not install the partition and the install was aborted. I understand that the drive needs drivers to work but where do I get bootable drivers to install? Then how do I install them if my system won't recognize the drive? Can anyone help me?

If you want to install OS to that drive, remove all other drives and only keep CD/DVD and that 2TB drive.
Then go into BIOS, and change SATA operation mode to AHCI. Try again.

You don`t need drivers to install windows 7. There are no drivers on a hard drive until you install the OS.

That message is always brought on by a bad installer.

He will need SATA-RAID pre-install drivers if SATA operation mode is set to RAID in BIOS.

He said 2 TB hard drive. As in singular, no mention of raid :)

It will still use RAID drivers if it is set to SATA RAID mode.
