You may have to think about dual boot if you have a spare copy of XP. That or one of the virtual programs. What verision of Win 7 do you Have? Also please fill in your systems specs.

Looking at the system requirements you would think you could play it on Windows 7, but this says otherwise....

    Hardware Requirements

    Windows ME/XP/2000
    DirectX 9.0c
Pentium III or Athlon at 1GHz
    256mb RAM
    Supported Graphics card
    DirectX 9 Compatible Sound Card
    2x DVD-ROM Drive

    Recommended Requirements:
    Windows XP/2000
    Pentium 4 at 2GHz or AthlonXP 2000+
    512Mb RAM
Graphics Card: GeForce FX 5xxx or Radeon 9xxx

The fact that it lists ME & 2000 as system requirements says that its too old to run/properly run on either Vista or Windows 7, and certainly not on a 64-bit OS.

In fact Windows 7 Compatibility Center doesn't even list the game..... Windows 7 Compatibility for heroes of the pacific : Drivers, Updates, Downloads

Vista Compatibility Center does, but has a question mark.... Windows Vista Compatibility Ubisoft Heroes Of The Pacific

Your only hope is to try an install the game in compatibility mode.... See this tutorial on running in Compatibility Mode.

    Good luck.

    @ Ken9122, his OS says 64-bit.

@sygnus21, is it Pro or Ultimate? So he could try XP mode.

That I don't know. However, If he could use XP mode, he won't be able to run the game in 3D as XP mode does not do 3D gaming, which is why I don't recommend it for gaming
