    in your folders you can change permissions click on a folder right click go to properties and look in security and look at the settings change accordingly

    Thanks for trying i have followed the link you gave but on folder properties and then security i get.
    SYSTEM
    andrew(ANDREW/AYDEN)
    administrators(ANDREW/Administrator)
    WMP Network Svc

    i cant see my child's name (chelsea) ? she is using standard settings

    i did go to parental control but after i did settings it stuffed her acc completely i had to delete her acc and create a new one only thing is it wont allow her to open and view her pics?? also i get a notification that Empowering technology can not be started ??

    right so you are in a pickle also i get a notification that Empowering technology can not be started ?? is this in chelsea account? when you created the new chelsea account did you make it a normal one (non admin?)

    i thought you would be able to choose all your files you do not wish to be opened by other users by selecting them and choosing in the security box in properties no rights to them? only you and administrator ?

    Her acc is standard user not admin the e notification only comes up on her acc, not mine admin

    then if you go back into your account and have a look at brinks tutorial for How to Open the Local Group Policy Editor in Windows 7
    Local Group Policy Editor - Open
    and see if you can block her out?
