    permissions

When I first installed Windows 7 a few days back, I didnt do anything to change any permissions, but I have had several occurances where Windows 7 stops me from installing or even startring a program.

I tried to install an image of the message here, but Im not sure how that is done.

    Maybe this tut will help
Permissions - Allow or Deny Users and Groups

If you cannot change the permissions, use the hidden administrator to help.
Built-in Administrator Account - Enable or Disable

While Im still working on getting the screenshots posted, I read a few of the tutorials mentioned above. It appears as though they dont list Wondows 7 home as one of the OS that can be modified.

We need to see the screenshots before we proceed with any other offerings. There are many permissions in Windows 7 that do NOT need to be changed in a "from-the-hip" effort to fix things.
