    Keyboard failure

My USB keyboard on my desktop all of a sudden fails. By this I mean that typing won't work to display the typed information on the screen. I can recover it by disconnecting the USB cable and reconnecting it or by restarting the computer. Any suggestions as to a cure?

You can try another keyboard to see if it works correctly.

Check to see if your power settings for USB include "Selective Suspend".

I went to "Selective Suspend" and it was enabled so I turned it off. Haven't had a problem since. Thank you very much!!!!!!.
