    Replaced Hard Disk

After replacing a crashed 320 GB disk with a 1 Tb disk and following recovery proceedure the new disk now operates OK but only shows the same amount of space as the previous disk. Is it possible to bring into use the missing disk space.

In Disk Management you can add the unallocated space to the partition that is to the left of that unallocated space. Just right click on that partition and 'extend volume'.

If you want to add the space to another partition, do what LB says and we'll see what should be done.

This is an excellent tutorial if your unallocated space is directly adjacent to the right of the partition you want to extend. If, however, the unallocated space is located adjacent to another partition, Disk Management or cmd cannot handle it. In that case you need the bootable CD of Partition Wizard.

Here is a little PW tutorial on how to handle the extend function.
