    You need IDE or AHCI enabled in BIOS for the HDD's to work you cannot just download these things. Switching between IDE and AHCI is also not recomended

    You have two controllers on the motherboard.
    1. IDE controller
    2. JMicron SATAII controller.

    Many motherboards with two controller allow for each controller to be set to different modes.


    Enable IDE for the 40 pin drive.
    Enable the following, if not enabled already.

    Enable the JMicron SATAII controller for the SATA drives and set to AHCI.

    help......i have asus m2n,sata disk is to boot ,wd ide is slave...boots 5 min..help!
