0mb flash drive

    0mb flash drive


    Can anyone help me how to force format a flash drive? i have an 8gb flash drive and i plugged it in to a speaker that plays mp3 songs...but after unplugged it..my flash drive prompts "Please insert disk"..and 0mb in my computer..i tried to view it with disk management and i saw its partition type was RAW..


    or anyone know how to fix this?

    In disk management itself, right click on the usb drive's partition and format.

    If disk management creates a fuss, try using the HP disk format tool.

    Plug it into your computer and just format it normally.

    Navigate to My Computer and right click the USB. There should be a format option.

    i will try the HP utility im still downloading it..normal Format will not work..and disk management will stop working..

    wew HP tool.wasnt able to help..it will just prompt that "there is no media in specified device"..

    See if this helps:

    Try following this Tutorial: USB Windows 7 Installation Key Drive - Create

    Omit Step 10 and finish with Step 16. Note that Step 7 may take some time to complete. Please be patient. You might be better off omitting the quick option in Step 11 (in other words, just use format fs=ntfs).

    i tried in the part 'list disk'. .but then my system drive was the only one detected..
