Installing Windows 7 64 Bit from a 32 bit XP
Okay, so i have windows 7 Rc1 32 bit... and i have two hard drives. C:=windwos XP 32 bit. with all my backup D:= Windows 7 Rc1 32bit i want to install 64 bit onto the D: drive. The problem is this.......
I dont have any blank DVD's. I installed Windows 7 32 bit by mounting daemon tools on my XP verison and set the install to go on the D: drive.
I just tried to do that with 64 BIT windows 7 and it will not even open Setup.exe from the disk sayin its not a valid win32.exe I believe thats because windows XP is a 32bit XP and i'm trying to run SETUP for 64 bit.
So is there anyway i can install 64 BIT on my D: drive without burning a CD?
Seems like i have no option and will have to go buy some blank dvds's
