    Delay during 7/vista setup.

Is that only me or it's a known problem that after windows finishes to load files, installation wallpaper shows up with a mouse pointer in the middle and before i get this screen (see attached img)

    Passes 1 minute or so.

I've notticed that the wallpaper appears before the options, but it's never taken 1 minute

Could be a bad burn, but at least it installs

well maybe not 1 minute, 30-40secs for sure. And happens the same with my vista dvd. XP installation is instant.

And if it was a bad burn, why in virtual pc 2007 vista installation on VHD starts instantly?

When installing from a DVD, I noticed a number of delay points during the install.

However, when I install from a bootable USB key drive, there are almost no delays.

Is that an issue with the way I'm burning the DVD? I don't know and, really, I'm not too concerned about it.

How did you make a bootable USB?
