7 kills setup of XP
I have a Toshiba laptop - Satellite L755 - S5107. It came with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit pre-installed.
It doesn't have XP mode, and anyway I want to run XP directly. As soon as I try to run the setup of XP (SP3), 7 gives a message that there is already a newer version of Windows installed, and it stops the setup from proceeding.
All my internet searches have given results for SATA drivers, but my desktop computer also has a SATA HDD, and XP installs easily on that one.
So is there any way to install XP on a separate partition? I already know how to set up dual boot with EasyBCD.
