    Windows installation

So, when I restart my pc and press DEL button for boot setup and when I boot my drive with windows disc, nothing happens and the old version of windows just starts. All last times when I was booting drive with disc I was getting press any button, I know that there is other way to do that, but don't know how, so please suggest me what to do.

Back up your files, unplug all other HD's and peripherals,

Boot into BIOS setup, reset to defaults, set SATA controller to AHCI, Hard Drive first to boot, Save changes and Exit.

If you notice UEFI Boot choices in BIOS Boot Priority menu then proceed with UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) - Install Windows 7 with. If you don't want a UEFI install you can Bypass UEFI to Install WIn7. This video can help you decide: UEFI BIOS vs. Legacy BIOS - YouTube

Then boot into Windows 7 installer DVD or flash stick burned or written using tool and latest ISO for your licensed OS version here. I would use a fresh ISO written with tool in Step 2 as yours is in question.

At first installer screen Press Shift + F10, or enter System Recovery Options to open a Command Box, type:

    DISKPART
    LIST DISK
SELECT DISK 0 (after confirming Windows 7 target HD #)
    CLEAN
    CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY
    FORMAT FS=NTFS LABEL="WINDOWS 7"
    ACTIVE
    EXIT
    EXIT

Next click Install Now, then Custom install to Clean Install Windows 7 to the partition you created. If it fails then report back at which step and the verbatim error message.

In addition read over these steps to understand the tools and methods which work best to get and maintain a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7. The steps are the same for retail.

After install you can adjust partition size or Create new partitions for data, etc. in Disk Mgmt. You are creating the partition here for the purpose of wiping the HD and marking Active which overcomes certain install failures.

What is wrong with your current Windows 7 Ultimate operating system ?

Are you trying to re install windows ?

What is the disc you`re trying to use ?

Where did it come from ?

Is it a retail disc ?

It`s either a bad disc ( bad burn ) or something`s wrong with your dvd rom.

The disc is not being seen by the dvd rom.

I don't think that dvd rom is bad because it's the same with usb dvd rom. About windows, I just want to make a clean install of windows because now my pc is full of sh** and something like that, slow and there are even some programs that cannot be uninstalled don't know why...

Just found out what's wrong, I just saw that I burned windows to dvd incorrectly... I just burned iso file instead of windows files of it... That's why dvd didn't boot in all ways, my bad.
