    Confused and Disgruntled Help Please

    Hi All

Right, got a new 1tb disk in the post today, and couldnt wait to have a play on windows 7 (im doing a clean install by the way)

being a student in the uk I downloaded the x64 bit proffesional edition through the digital river app and ended up with these 3 files....

    setup1.box
    setup2.box
    win7-p-retail-en-us-x64.exe

to be honest I was expecting an .iso, looking on the internet for solutions I downloaded the x15-65733.iso and the usb/dvd booting tool (from toms hardware)

this is where the problems started

I burnt the .iso and the first and second win 7 install attempts crashed but then the 3rd worked. So i though everything was ok but it wasnt

I checked in win 7 i had the 64bit version but it was the premium not the professional edition which I downloaded (i didnt register the key by the way)

the 2nd problem is that it crashed every 5 mins surfing the net

does anyone know the correct install procedure for me or which .iso is the right one to download, im a bit miffed cos I have spent £30 and have no windows 7 to show for it.

    Thanks in advance

Imgburn works best of all. Has never failed me, while all others have. Burn at 4x with verify to be sure.
