Not app but being able to use touch screen fetcher in Win 7
Ok well I think you answered my question. You have to have a special touch screen monitor? Any suggestion on brand?
wacom works OOB and i believe N-trig (the other big touchscreen company) should work also.....
the thing is with these brands is that there only available to OEM....
as my computer (its a laptop) has a built-in wacom touchscreen and digitizer...
if you are looking around these are two good ones (if this is a external screen [and you can tell what company included the touchscreen capability] then it should come with a vista driver in case its not recognized....)
since its a derivative of the vista family there should be no problem in installing the vista driver...
This is crazy, one of the big pushes for W7 was to make it more 'peripheral friendly' having to buy new kit is a big no no. 7 should work with kit already out there.
Sorry to dredge up an old post, but I'm currently questioning Microsoft's intentions with it's touch capability.
I've got a thread going here: Win 7 7068 x64 and Touch capability PROBLEM about trying to get the touch screen capability going on my machine, and haven't had a bit of luck.
Please, if any of you have any info, please post in my thread...I'd be eternally grateful (as well as +rep!) for anything that can get these 3 touchscreens to work in Win7 (they work just fine in XP Pro!)

Sorry but have to lol at OP as it seems he thought that windows 7 was going to enable touch on a standard screen
Some how I don't think the OP would be alone with that assumption.
