How do I Speed Up My PC?

I have a ACER Notebook PC with Windows 7 Ultimate OS, 64bit with 6GB Ram on board. I regularly use AVAST, CC Cleaner and Spybot. I regularly uninstall uneccessary programs from my control panel. Whether I stick to a Windows program or click on one of my three browsers - Firefox, Chrome or I/E, it takes a long time to boot up, to use a word processing program or to download anything from the Interenet or to manipulate anything on the Internet. I get lots of paid offers to buy a speed up program, but they don't work. How can I fix this?

A Program or programs are slowing you down
Run the computer in clean boot
Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup
One at a time put the programs back. When you start running slow, you know the last restored program is the problem.
After doing the above, I would follow this excellent tutorial
    Optimize Windows 7

    Also,
Resource Monitor can help you identify the resources programs are using.

If you've tried using any of the speed up programs, they may be causing troubles too, especially if they've installed malware (often times, unfortunately, that is what these kinds of programs really are). Since you seem to be getting a lot of offers for these kinds of programs, there may be something running in the background and/or with your browsers that is causing them to prompt you with these offers.

I would suggest downloading, installing, updating and running the newest free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware in safemode as a double check to see if that is what's going on. (During the install process, make sure to uncheck the trial version, if you just want to continue using the free version.)

I know often times malware can cause computers to slow down. They do all kinds of nasty things in the background that can use up and limit system resources.

    Best of luck.

    I guarantee your infected.

Please read this entirely before we begin malware removal:

Before we start with malware assistance, I want to inform you of a few things:

1.) I am not a recognized malware removal expert. I do not have a certification from a malware removal school. Having said that, I have removed a lot of malware with PCs and have years of experience.
But just like no antivirus program is 100% effective, neither am I. My goal is to simply clean up your PC from any malware, and assist you in any way possible to help you secure your PC.

2.) Sevenforums (This forum)and I will NOT be held responsible for anything that might go wrong with your pc.

3.) You agree to follow all directions given, until I advise that your pc is clean and you are free of threats. You will not abandon the thread.

    4.)

Do you agree to these terms?

If yes, reply with a Yes. If not, please state so and I will flag an official malware remover, or I will recommend another place for malware removal assistance.
