    Thanks Bare Foot Kid!

I think my scores are decent for a laptop. Definitely happy with how it runs everything.

Hi. New here. I've got Windows 7 Pro installed on my laptop, and have it coming for my desktop (I'm slowly tearing myself away from XP, but had to replace Vista in a hurry).

The WEI on my laptop is decent in all areas but the graphics card which is 4.8. 5.7 HD, 6.0-6.1 everything else. Not bad for a laptop that I don't plan on using for intensive gaming. :)

After seeing this, I decided to check how my desktop scored in the RC/Build 7100. However, my desktop scores are not quite as shiny. I built this thing back in March '08, and while I realize that's largely dated at this point, I expected something a little better than what is below with a Q6600 as my processor

Does my processor really suck this much these days? Or is there something wrong with the WEI?

Have you tried overclocking your cpu and fsb? i cant remember if the difference between 7100 and 7600 has a variation with the WEI score on the CPU. but with that score i would guess that its at default settings.

Hello OwenKealy, welcome to Seven Forums!

They made significant changes in the WEI between the RC and the RTM, run it again when you get the RTM installed.

    Welcome to SevenForums Lilika
I am running a worse system with a Nvidia 9400 as well (which is what is pushing your WEI down) and unless you want some heavy gaming at high def, you should be fine. Mine hasn't let me down
