    System Tools>Defrag

Hello, Im currently using Win 7 64-bit. Well as of recently I noticed when I double-click, or right-click and try to "run as Administrator" windows defrag doesn't seem to load at all. I don't even get any type of response or error or anything. Nothing happens. I tried to use it from different locations other then the start bar. Just doesn't seem to load at all. Any ideas? Maybe something that might of been disabled? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

If you open an elevated command prompt, can you run it from the command line?

    Hello Shooter,

You might see if it will work after running a sfc /scannow command. If not, then you can do a repair install to fix it, but you might consider using the free Auslogics Disk Defrag instead.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

I'm not sure what you mean. It is a free program.

Don't quote me, but If i recall when I checked the link it took me to a "free program" but for a short duration like 3 months then you had to "activate it" I could be completely wrong and it could be a completely different program. But I thought this is the one I was thinking was a paid software. Either way it doesn't matter. Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.

You're welcome Shooter. It's no problem at all.

Well, it's free for all non-commercial use only though.
