From that screen shot it has the nforce 560 chipset, which for whatever reason Nvidia has bascially dropped support for it with the last official driver the 15.23 from back in 2008,

    NVIDIA DRIVERS 15.23 WHQL

    which is also why,

To be more specific these were the drivers I installed:
    (15.49_nforce_winvista_win7_32bit_international_whql)
    (sp34794)
    (sp36079 (1))
    (sp45112)
    (sp37732)
didn't install, there is no support for that chipset in the drivers.

    GeForce 8 series: 8200 / nForce 730a, 8100 / nForce 720a
    nForce 9 series: 980a SLI

    nForce 6 series: 630i/GeForce 7150, 630a / GeForce 7050, 630a / GeForce 7025, 630i/GeForce 7100, 610i/GeForce 7050
    nForce 4 series: 405 / Geforce 6100, 400 / Geforce 6100, 430 / GeForce 6150SE, 430 / GeForce 6150LE, 410 / GeForce 6150LE, 430 / Geforce 6100, 420 / Geforce 6100, 410 / GeForce 6100, 430 / GeForce 6150
Asfar as the driver from HP, I could be wrong but from looking at the INF's (and driver version numbers) in it they don't appear to be much more than repackaged XP drivers (most dated from 2007).

let's see if that 15.23 will install. Start with going to Programs and Features and uninstalling any and all Nvidia drivers that are shown there, including any of the one's from HP (look for the spxxxx number). Then try installing the 15.32 using compatibility mode,

    Compatibility Mode

Hopefully that will get them installed and then the sound driver should install after.

As for your posted screen shot,

Alt+Print Screen and pasting in Paint works as well, no need for any other programs.
