    Hi,

The advise the guys have given regaring Registry cleaners is so true... I used to use them all Advanced system care, system mechanic....and many more...stay well alway from them ... Ccleaner is the daddy it has all you need.

My PC has run so much better since coming on Seven Forums and taking the advise regarding using Ccleaner only

    Hope this helps

Thanks for all the comment s guide, I've been struggling to get internet access lol hence the late reply.

Just a quick update, I used the verification scan using sfc /scannow and that failed, it stopped at 71% and said it couldn't complete. I tried the windows defender offline and that found nothing. I am now trying the anti-rootkit scan by Kapersky which was suggested first...

    Thanks again

Update: After running the Root-kit it seems to have solved the problem and sorted my computer out however I am still going to do a full re-install the proper way as the verification scan still won't complete. Thanks for providing the tutorial I shall be using today.

    Cheers, Dan.

I am facing some problems to remove the virus Mybrowserbar.com.
I tried to remove the virus in several ways, but there is no use.
In google I found the webpage mygoodpc.com regarding this virus. In that webpage, some instructions are there to remove the virus by using various Virus Removal Tools. I followed all the instructions in that webpage, but unfortunately can't download those Tools. May be Mybrowserbar.com virus blocking the downloads. Give me suggestions to remove the virus completely from my PC.
