+ 85GBs on my VHD file... Can't Shrink it

    Hi there

    I'm afraid I'm Baffled too - if you DO ever figure it out please post what it was. !!

    I usually don't give up easily but I have to say I'm totally baffled by this one. !! --Sorry I can't give you any more suggestions.

    Me neither, I can never walk away from a challenge but then again, when you get to be my age... you start to choose your battles carefully!

    I honestly believe that what will happen is that I am going to uninstall virtual Mode and install a fresh copy to see if I did something wrong the first time out... it is the only logical explanation. More so now that the size has increase yet again.

    I can not believe that I finally found the answer and it was under my nose the whole time...

    Compressing vhd file in Windows XP Mode

    There is no button per say but if you look at the image, if you go to the settings and click the "Modify" button and then 2 choives... I chose "Compact" and it went from +20 GBs to +12 GBs
