Most laptops do not have to be activated if they came with windows 7 pre-installed on them.
If you installed windows on your laptop from another disk, then you could be mis reading the activation codes.
You might want to try your laptop manufacturer for the correct code if yours is incorrect.

Hello
Just to make sure, the product activation key is 5 sets of 5 letters / numbers that resemble the one below, does the key you are trying to use resemble this?
G0BUY-TH3S0-FTWAR-3ATMI-CS0FT
Activation keys are version specific, a Home Premium key will not activate a Professional version.
Call the manufacturer's Tech Support to have them help you activate.
Make sure you are typing the exact characters as it is easy to transpose one.
Did you reinstall? re-install windows 7
Yh I re-installed it and even though I installed the same version of it...the iso used for installing it is different than the one used in the first place
Are you / have you installed the exact same version the PC shipped with?
If not you can use the info contained in this tutorial to create an "all versions" installer to use.

Yh i already created the disc but like i said it's home premium x64 and i reinstalled home premium x64 but the iso is different...idk if the universal disk will work or not but i will try it out
