    Thanks for your help Kaktussoft.

I have finally thrown the laptop out of the window and cut the legs off all computer programmers because the only thing they are efficient at is writing nonsense. I am now retiring, in a sulk to a shop to buy a new laptop.

Hate this Vista thing I am writing on at the moment and once I get a new laptop, I shall endeavour to upgrade it to Win8, so.........in all likelihood, I shall be back here complaining that it failed and would someone please help but, at least, I shall not be so stupid ever again, as to think I could put one DOS command in front of the other logically.

I have to say I quite enjoyed trying but even a fool gets to realize, albeit slowly, that there's a limit to foolishness. Cheerio!

I hope nobody is hurt or got the laptop on his head ;-)

Only thing you had to do is:
    • Format the RAW partition as NTFS, or
    • Delete the RAW partition, or
    • Leave it as it was
The reinstall win7 Clean Install Windows 7
    Not difficult at all!!
