Computer stuck after stopping restore
So, I really need help or this is going to be the most boring weekend.
I tried to restore after my computer started freezing in short fits, as if trying to load.
So I restored in the morning and I noticed it had frozen during restore too. I've done system restore many times and it had never been stuck at one place as long as this. So after coming back from school at 5pm, the same day I started the restore, it was still where I left the restore in the morning. I waited a bit more and it was going no where so I just restarted my laptop.
This is where the problem started. When turning on the laptop after shutoff I get two options: launch startup repair and start windows normally
With start windows normally I get stuck on the "starting windows logo" and it doesn't go anywhere from there.
On launch start up repair it goes through to a window which gives me "x:\windows\system32\cmd.exe". It's a black window, which I've seen before. Has writing in it. I can move cursor around but does not let me write in the "x:\windows\system32\cmd.exe" box.
PLEASE help me out. I've tried looking through Internet for solution, but the one guy who had similar problem never followed up to solution.
I am posting on phone and will respond ASAP to any posts because I really need this solved. I basically have nothing to do until this is resolved. HELP
