Shouldn't be difficult. Aomei will restore a system backup to different hardware.
Windows 7 is supposed to be supported until January 2020. Two weeks ago I bought a refurbished Sony Vaio running 7 Pro from a local mom & pop computer repair shop to replace a broke Sony Vaio that had also been running 7 Pro. Aomei was able to restore a system image from the old machine to the refurbished machine without any problems. With the money I received as trade in the refurbished machine cost less than $200 dollars. Not a bad deal. Just more food for thought.

"gini, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Google was my friend! I found the download link apart from the Windows 10 forum.

Yea, it looks like the TF thread was removed. I edited my previous post.
Glad you found the info elsewhere !
From the AB compare versions info i read it looks like the Pro version is needed to restore to different hardware, but SIW2 says the free version can do it.
I don't know, i never used that feature

It is possible that feature has been moved to the paid versions.

The free version used to do it. Not sure if it still does.

    Otherwise, there is this:

Make Windows 7 bootable after motherboard swap

I don't know, a Forum Admin would have to answer that.
