That depends if your laptop can run 1gb modules...
its not a laptop its a desktop
any way does any1 know a browser that would work fine with 256mb RAM
in my bios i have 2 RAM memory slots one has 256MB DDR and the other is empty
i went on the manufactures website (HP) and it says a set of instructions on how to install and wat i can install it sed 1.0GB is Recommended as the maximum
According to this MS page: Memory Limits for Windows Releases (Windows) you can have 2 GB. Scroll down to:
"Physical Memory Limits: Windows 7 " - Starter
I've been using IE8 with 1GB RAM on Vista ever since it came out. (My Windows 7 computer came with 2 GB RAM.) If it works with 1GB on Vista it should also on 7. Make sure you get all the necessary Windows Updates.
Roncerr, according to his computers manufacturer, he can only run 1GB. It doesn't matter what the software can support if the hardware can't support it as well.
Thanks
