Hi

How do I search for (& find) my .OST file so that I can take a back up copy of it.
I am running Windows7 (64bit), Outlook2003.

With thanks

P.S. Is how THE HECK can I search just a particular branch of the directory tree in Windows7? (In windowsXP you can use Windows Explorer, go to the branch you are interested in and just right-click...)

In XP OST files are in the folder
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Which in Windows 7 should be in
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook

To search in particular folder you just click F3 and go from there.
If option Don't show hidden files, folder, or drives is turned on you might not find anything, because it won't search in hidden and system folder/files.
