Solved Facebook showing me logged in from different location

I went to go see all the places I was logged in from on facebook and all of a sudden I see myself logged in from somewhere in New Jersey, I don't even live in New Jersey, I live in Indianapolis, how can I fix this it is doing it to me on both Firefox and Internet Explorer

I think the question was: Are you ALSO logged into facebook using a mobile device, like a phone, or a 3G tablet? If you had followed the link provided, I think you'd have understood that.

I think you came to the forum because you didn't ask Facebook about a Facebook issue. Am I right?

This is probably the longest I've ever had a Windows machine run without having to restore it to scratch. I'm used to restoring to "factory" about every 2 yrs. I've run with Win7 since new in 2009 and only recently (Nov, '14) restored to clean up the machine from all my 'xperimenting. LOL!! I may never need another machine.

Upgraded to 10 when it was still free, then installed 2017 update.
I'm not logged on from any mobile devices or anything, I cleared all my activity and logged myself back in through Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, the 2 browsers installed on my laptop and still no luck with it

Okay...does it show that you're currently logged in at multiple places, or that you have logged in from those places in the last month? It won't matter which browsers you use, so don't worry about which one you're currently using.

Sorry, but I don't use "Farcebook", so I'm just imagining the scenario.

And, BTW, GO GOOGLE+. (Heh.... shameful plug.)

If it does not show you logged in CURRENTLY from those locations, then any time you may have accessed FB from a phone or 3G Tablet might have created those entries. (I say 3G tablet, because they use the cell network to log in, whereas a wifi tablet would only show up at your current location and IP address.)

If it only shows your CURRENT logins, then there's a good possibility that someone else is using your FB sign-in.

somebody else using my facebook account is not good and I just changed my password yesterday and it is still showing me logged in from the strange location, what should I do about it

Still sounds like you have been hijacked
Can you try logging in on another computer ? Not from home
See where it shows you are from, if it still says NJ then change the password again and log out immediately afterwards. Close the browser, clear the browsers cache, then log back in

If you log in this outside computer and you do not see NJ it seems your computer has spyware in it, then you need to download Malwarebytes at Malwarebytes.org, install it and do a full scan and see what it finds
