IE 11 keeps resetting the sound level back to 100%.

Here is my problem:
IE 11 keeps resetting the sound level back to 100%.

I’m using several different browsers,(chrome, firefox, IE 11) and I have the sound levels adjusted for each of them. IE is the only one that keeps resetting the sound level back to 100%. I have a Creative/Sound Blaster Audigy sound card (to which I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest drivers – no change) which is working fine for everything else – except IE 11.
I have tried pretty much everything I can think of with no success – opened to new input…

I'm not even sure Internet explorer in general cares if you have speakers/ sound or not,
It "ie" certainly doesn't control sound or reset,
There must be a keyboard combination which is being used unknowingly by you,
To rule out third party items,
Use Clean boot,

Use No Add-ons mode/ Click the Start button and type in the search box,
Internet explorer

Click on the suggestion (No Add-ons) or it’s located at,
Start/ All programs/ Accessories folder/ System tools folder/ No add-ons.

Activate EPM if on a 64 bit version of windows,

Add the Run box to the Start menu list,

Open the Run command and Paste this into it and Okay,
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -extoff

IE controls and resets the slider in the volume mixer assigned to IE - which is the point and the problem. The other sliders are unaffected as i have mentioned.
Your suggestions are based on add-on conflict. I have already tried booting in safe mode, disabling add-ons and using IE(no add-ons) - no go.. Thanks anyway
