Thanks @Brink! Checking out
For the record, FF46 enables Electrolisys, but only for those that use compliant extensions, or no extensions at all.
Goooooood News!
Seems that next Firefox 47, will include this two enhacements, which I guess will make happy a lot of users (including ME!)
- Fixes for D3D11 rendering, and if it fails, D3D9 will be used as a fallback, this fixes a bug in which, if D3D11 failed, all acelerated rendering was disabled altogether.
- Widevine CDM plugin will be included, so now, Netflix users can enjoy the speed and reliability of HTML5 (bye bye Silverlight... finally!). Just one thing, though; it seems Netflix and similar sites (like Clarovideo or Amazon) still require Silverlight for Firefox, this is due to them keeping Firefox blacklisted... buuut, no problem, you can easily fix this installing User Agent Switcher extension, and setting it up for Chrome/Windows "emulation". This enables HTML5 player for Netflix.
According to RapidRelease/Calendar - MozillaWiki, in June 7th we will upgrade to FF47, with all this benefits... still no Electrolisys by default, supposedly, ETA for that is FF49... more or less.
If you can't wait, you can always try either Nightly, Aurora or Beta, if you already have FF installed
Using Release, ESR, Beta, Aurora, and/or Nightly together. ? mozillaZine Forums
Cheers people!
I personally think Pale Moon is a better browser than Firefox.
It's a fork of Firefox that now uses its own rendering engine and is like the classic firefox.
