how do i invert colours option in latest edition of firefox

    Hi,

for all practical purposes, i use firefox.
I am having glaucoma and would prefer not to strain my eyes.
How do i enable invert colours mode, as some friends suggest.in all my windows browsing page, i mean global

Should i also enable dark mode, or is it enough if i just enable the inverse mode.
i want to have the option in firefox itself, rather than as an add on
As some add on , is giving browsing problem.

I tried to swap the colors in Firefox and it didn't work. I changed the background color to black and the text color to white.

Coupe add-ons that do work are Invert Colors and Color Changer. But color changer is a per domain thing so you have to enable it per domain. It stored the preferences into a SQLite database I think and I tried to open it in SQLite Browser to change the URLs to a wild card but the database contains nothing from what I can see. If I found a wild card ability for Color Changer for all sites I would have told you how to do it. Until then, if you use Color Changer you'll have to set it per website.

    Edit-

Tried to hard code settings into the extension its self, but the files are using a manifest and a sig so it makes it a PITA to alter the contents. I bet that sig needs a private key. In the past I could edit extensions realy easy, now it appears every component has a signature. I'd have to read more about it to know how to customize this which I'm not at liberty of doing right now. It's why it be easier to change the database file for a URL wild card instead of having to enable this on a per domain basis in the browser. The database setting would persist throughout your session and other subsequent sessions.

Hi, I read that could be changed globally by going to the option and select content menu and there would be an option to invert colours. But i do not find the content menu separately and those menus in the latest edition of firefox.
trying dark mode, hides some letters on every site, and if this feature is there in firefox, it would come handy for those, who has glaucoma, who has to give strain to read.
I think that it is a basic thing that the famous browser should have, but will not be there a way in about:config
i will try to quote the instruction, i read in a post
