Need some help, don't know what to do.

I've been experiencing BSOD's for the last few weeks now. looking at the base code of the errors which have mostly been 0x050 and 0x109 I really thought that my memory was going out. after running some mem tests, 25 passes per stick in memtest86+, I've found absolutely nothing. As I cannot find anything wrong hardware side I am lost.

I really need a stable system for school. I know enough to build my own and diagnose simple problems with memory and what not, even dive down and fix stuff from a cd booted linux, but the minidump has always been above my head.

I've downloaded BlueScreenView to take a look at whats going on on the software side but again, I don't know what to do with the info I found.

So, I have zipped the dmps and attached them here with a simple plee for help.
    thanks!

Be sure to remove TuneUp Utilities.

One dump is blaming your USB drivers. Do you have a webcam attached? If so, update the drivers, or disconnect it if that doesn't work.

If that still doesn't help, enable driver verifier: Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

Just use your computer normally, but be aware that your system is liable to crash at any moment.

As for TuneUp Utilities, go ahead and remove it temporarily at least. I have seen it cause crashes before, and we need to eliminate as many factors as possible.

As soon as we get this all sorted out, you can install it again if you wish.

I hope no one minds my stopping by, I plan to leave after I have my say.
I feel that it is best to do your own tune up. Its easy and you will learn a lot about the compuer. In addition, nothing will be changed, unless you want it to be changed.

Here are the few things that have to be done to maintian the computer, do not do any of the registry suggestions.

Use of the "tune up" softwares out there may touch the registry or cause other problems. Ask Jon how many times he has seen that.

So, I will just leave my little article and wish you the best. Follow the instuctions that I have given "

Incidentally, you are in good hands. If I had a computer problem, I would want Jon to help me. Good luck

I am going echo what Richard said regarding tuneup utilities as well as about Jonathan.

You are in good hands with Jonathan; follow his advice. He will not steer you wrong.

Regarding third party tuneup utilities, registry cleaners, registry defraggers, etc, Win 7 is an entirely different operating system than XP. The old XP knowledge does not apply to Win 7. Win 7 does not need any tuneup utility. The operating systems takes care of itself very effectively and very efficiently. There are very few things that you or a tuneup utility can do to speed Win 7 up or make it run more efficiently. With a tuneup utility, you can actually slow your system down and create system problems.

Win 7 is a closed OS. The makers of tune utilities are guessing at what works; they do not have access to the core system to create their products. This applies to registry cleaners, too. Windows manages the registry so much better than XP or even Vista. A best, registry cleaners will not make one nanoseconds difference in the speed of Windows. At worst, they can actually cause Windows to slow down and even crash. If one is not an expert in the registry, one should leave it alone and certainly not trust an application to make registry decisions.

The caveat of the above is in deleting registry keys related to uninstalled programs. This is safe as long as one is sure those keys are related to uninstalled programs.

I am off of my soapbox now.

Thanks for the suggestions. I hope this doesn't come off as rude or arrogant, but, I do have slightly more technical knowledge than most end users. I've never let Tuneup utilities make changes to my registry as I monitor regedit myself (especially when uninstalling programs). I also don't have any anti-virus software that can run on its own un-checked other than Microsoft security essentials. The only anti-virus stuff I use is a combination of Hijack this and Malware Bytes.

I have bookmarked the tune up suggestions thanks for that!

As far as the Stop Errors go, the problem is that I really have only been seeing them once every 24-48 hours. Usually it occurs in the night when the system should be idle. As far as USB, I only have a generic USB keyboard, a microsoft laser mouse 6000, and a generic 4 port hub. I have a Kingwin SATA dock as well but it is never powered on. The only other thing I can think of is an SD card reader from digital concepts (it was like a dollar).

I really figured I would come over to here for the help because as stated, it is not XP (which I was not afraid to dive into), and because I would prefer not to have to reinstall windows, I sort of am on my last installation available on the disk, as I've had a motherboard die on me recently.

As of now, the SD card reader and dock have been unplugged, TuneUp utilities has been uninstalled, and Driver Viewer has been enabled.

I'll be posting dumps as it BSOD's.

also, I did download nirsoft's BlueScreenView, Its showing me on each dump what it thinks caused it. is there anything more like try rolling back those drivers?

A great thing about this forum is that each member can give his or her ideas and then the readers are free to make the choice that is best for them. I do not have to agree with you nor you with me. As long as we do what is best for ourselves; information is required for to acheive that goal. Saying that I wish you the best and hope that your computer problems are taken care of quickly. Good luck.

BSV isn't known for its accuracy. Unless the dump points directly to a third-party driver (unfortunately not as frequently as we would like), don't rely in it.

I look forward to seeing the results!

Well, I hadn't restarted since I enabled the Driver verifier. I just performed a restart and it would not boot. which to says that it cannot verify a driver and this is progress! :)
I went into safe mode and disabled it in order to boot properly. but I have attached the dmp.

Thanks to everyone for all the help!
I could very easily see this becoming a new landing place after facebook and the canon photography forums!
