I've tried the SFC.EXE /SCANNOW option - and that did nothing.
I'm going to try the Win7 repair, although I don't hold much hope as this issue started within the first 15mins of having the machine, and also when it was rebuilt by the Dell engineer - both time NOTHING was installed / plugged into it. As fresh install as you could get.
If the Win7 repair doesn't work, I'll do a fresh install, but I'm convinced it'll be waste of time. If that's the case I'm gonna give in a give it back to Dell. Or throw it out of the window - which ever comes first.
