Cannot boot up 7 (black screen after BIOS)
Hi everyone there!
I don't know if this is the right place, but I think so and I'll try.Well, I won't introduce myself, as I want to be quick.
Let's go to the problem. So I was using Windows 7 when I came out with the idea of installing Windows XP, as 7 was sucking my memory up (300 MB of my beloved 512 RAM). So I read a tut on how to install XP after 7 was installed, and after XP's first stage of setup, it told me to restart. But for my surprise it wouldn't boot (a screen appeared telling me BootMGR was corrupt). So I managed to get a Vista DVD (Not 7 cause I couldn't find it), and ran the Command Prompt. So I wrote what the tutorial told me to write:
-Bootrec.exe /fixMGR
-Bootrec.exe /fixBoot
It showed me up as the operation was successful, so I restarted my PC. Now, WTF, I can't get to 7 because a black screen (it was blank) stayed after 2nd Boot stage.
So I put the Vista DVD again on my drive and installed it over the partition where XP would have been. After installing everything I'd expect a Vista or 7 boot, but, again it wouldn't let me!
Now I got my PC ruined up, I cannot boot 7 from hard drive because of this. What shall I do? Is there a way I can get 7 back? Please help!!
