    Help please !!

Hi, I am unable to open backup and restore from the control panel and I was hoping one of you guys could help with a simple solution.

Thanks in advance for any responses.

    Thanks

Just type backup and restore in the search box in the start menu.
you should be able to access it directly from there.

You must type it SFC /scannow , note the space
...and make sure you followed the rest of the directions.
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

If backup and restore is not working either core system files are screwy or something that shouldn't have happened in your registry has occurred.

Start > right click on "Computer" > Properties > Sytem Protection (top left).
