0x1E BSOD after Skype Stops Working

I was using my computer to Skype someone, and it suddenly closes skype. so, I restart the skype program, which works for a while, then I get a BSOD 0x3b. This has something to do with networking, so I turn my computer off and back on, and my computer enters normal windows. Then, after a few minutes, it blue-screens again to 0x1E and the standard message with it. Every time I turn my computer on afterwards, it tends to keep doing this after a while, so I've come here. I uploaded the files that were asked for in the sticky at the beginning of this forum. Please help if you can, and thank you!

- potentially important: I use BitDefender 2011 to protect my computer, and recently i did a full system scan, and it found and removed a trojan, i think it was a firefox startpage trojan or something. If this actually is important, I'll see what other information I can get on it.

Hello GreatWhite, welcome to SF!

You need to do a couple of things.

1. Download Malwarebytes and do a full systemscan
2. Update (the MANY) old and sometimes obsolete, drivers:
-ASUS - lots of stuff, goto ASUS.com and update everything pertaining to your MOBO
-Cyberlink drivers
-Googletalk
-Lightscribe
HTML Code:
Chameleon 1.0.0.3 11.00 KB (11,264 bytes) 4/7/2005 9:38 PM ASUSTeK c:\program files (x86)\asus\splendid\chameleon.dll
googletalk 1.0.0.104 3.57 MB (3,739,648 bytes) 1/1/2007 1:22 PM Google c:\users\valued customer\appdata\roaming\google\google talk\googletalk.exe
OverlayIconShlExt64 1.4.7.615 102.50 KB (104,960 bytes) 6/15/2007 10:28 AM Not Available c:\program files (x86)\asus\asus data security manager\shlext\x64\overlayiconshlext64.dll
ovs 1.0.0.1 35.00 KB (35,840 bytes) 6/3/2005 1:39 AM ASUSTek c:\program files (x86)\asus\splendid\ovs.dll
lssrvc 1.14.17.1 72.00 KB (73,728 bytes) 6/9/2008 10:21 AM Hewlett-Packard Company c:\program files (x86)\common files\lightscribe\lssrvc.exe
In one of your dumps, audiodg.exe seems to have crashed, which sounds consistent with it happening while using Skype. Audiodg should be updated automatically with windows update, I think.

Make sure your windows updates are up to date.

After that, if BSOD's continue, we'll have to start some tests. Please post back results.

I did a lot of updating, and now it seems the only drivers that are out of date are my RAM socket drivers, but I'm having no problems with them. Aside from that, everything seems to be working fine, and the new drivers are working great with no blue screens yet to be reported. I'm uploading another performance monitor report, just in case there was anything I missed. Seems like the problem is solved! Thank you!

Sure hope so! Do some testing and in a day or so, if still ok, please mark the thread solved? Thx!
